Compounding, quality and safety

Compounded medicines are prepared by pharmacies and are not FDA-approved products. Grey-market peptides sold online have no oversight at all. Documented problems include incorrect potency, wrong or unlisted substances, contamination and non-sterility, and the FDA has restricted certain peptides from compounding on safety grounds.
