What Is Neuroplasticity?
Neuroplasticity is the nervous system's ability to change its structure, connections and function in response to experience, learning, activity and injury. It operates throughout life, is strongest during development, and produces both helpful adaptations such as new skills and unhelpful ones such as persistent pain.
