Tesamorelin is a synthetic growth hormone releasing hormone analogue approved in the United States for reducing excess abdominal fat in people with HIV-associated lipodystrophy. That indication is narrow, and the marketing interest in it for general body composition or anti-aging goes well beyond what was studied.
