Nature, Green Space and Mental Health

Studies consistently associate time in green space with lower self-reported stress, better mood and improved attention, with some research pointing to around two hours a week as a threshold for reported wellbeing benefits. Effects are modest, the research is mostly observational, and access to nature is unequally distributed.
