Go to the visualizer
Visualizer: start here
Start with Add music on the visualizer below, then choose a Beiing sound. To browse first, choose a sound from the library. If the controls are hidden, select Show controls.
Streaming music: desktop only for now
Spotify, Apple Music and other streaming services can drive the visualizer through tab-audio sharing in supported desktop browsers. This connection is not currently available on phones or tablets. On mobile, choose a Beiing sound or a local audio file instead. Streaming services remain separate; Beiing does not connect to your account.
On a computer, use the service's web player in a browser tab, not its desktop app. Audio-sharing options vary by browser; if Share tab audio is unavailable, use a Beiing sound.
Breathe in
How do you want to feel?
Tap one to begin. Breath, sound and visuals settle around it.
Breathe in as it expands, out as it settles - roughly a 10-second cycle. Tap a feeling to start a timed session, full screen, with matching sound. During a session, Adjust changes the sound, visual and breath pace; everything else stays out of the way.
Rendered locally in your browser - nothing is streamed, uploaded, or tracked. Lower the intensity and speed, or switch on reduced motion, if movement feels uncomfortable. This is a self-care tool, not treatment or medical care.
What do you want to visualize?
Pick a sound, press play, and the visual responds. Nothing to sign in to.
On the visual, tap Add music and choose a Beiing sound - it starts immediately. Or browse the library and open a sound here with its visual already set.
Browse Beiing sounds and see one movePrefer just the visual? Use the X on the control strip to hide controls - a Show controls button always stays on screen.
About this visual and how to use it

Frequently asked questions
Can I use Spotify or Apple Music with the visualizer on my phone?
Spotify, Apple Music and other streaming services can drive the visualizer through tab-audio sharing in supported desktop browsers. This connection is not currently available on phones or tablets. On mobile, choose a Beiing sound or a local audio file instead. Streaming services remain separate; Beiing does not connect to your account.
What is the audio and visual wellness section?
It is a free, curated library of guided videos, calming soundscapes, an interactive breathing visual, and screen-time picks chosen for their calming or educational value. Nothing is hosted or sold here - videos play from YouTube and soundscapes open on Spotify.
Can listening to music or soundscapes really reduce anxiety?
Cochrane reviews of music interventions found reductions in anxiety and short-term improvements in depressive symptoms when music is added to usual care. Effects are modest and are best treated as a supportive habit, not a treatment.
Do binaural beats work?
Binaural beats require headphones and the evidence is mixed. Small studies report reduced pre-procedure anxiety, but findings are inconsistent. They are low risk for most people, so treat them as an experiment rather than a proven therapy.
How long should a session be?
Ten to twenty minutes is enough for most calming practices. Consistency matters more than duration - a daily ten-minute practice usually outperforms an occasional hour.
Is watching calming films actually good for mental health?
Restorative-environment research shows natural scenery speeds physiological stress recovery, and emotionally clear storytelling can help people name feelings. It is a supplement to, not a replacement for, sleep, movement, connection, and professional care.
